History making moments for Cheyenne!! At 8 months old she was certified at National Level for tracking, area search and cadaver testing. The Handler Tracey Sargent quotes "For the cadaver testing,it was the HARDEST and MOST DIFFICULT test I have ever had to do with any dogs in my 15 years of dog training and certifications. 130 teams attended the conference:22 dogs tested for the cadaver test and less than 10 passed the test....Cheyenne was one of the dogs that passed! She had no misses and no false alerts and did not alert any animal remains...any one of these events would have eliminated us completely from certification. To our knowledge she was the youngest dog to ever pass these tests!!

PS...By the way,she did all this on a lame leg! She had gotten hurt a couple days before certification!

Cheyenne is doing great! She passed “Canine
Good Citizenship” evaluation/certification with the
American Kennel Club back in December 2007. She
passed with flying colors. We have been working very
hard over the past several months with her. Her
tracking skills are outstanding. We set up a very
difficult track for local certification. She nailed
it! It was a track over 2 miles long with multiple
turns and surfaces and with many distractions. We
also did a local cadaver test. It was 10 sources
hidden in different places in all types of situations.
She nailed this too. She is now certified at a
local level with K9 Search & Rescue Specialists, Inc.
Because she is doing so well, we anticipate taking her
to the nationals in Florida next month for her
national certifications. Wish us luck!

This is one of our C-litter females, she will attempting National level certification at 8 mths old!!

Congradulations Marina & Simba! 8th place in the FMBB World Championship!

Marina and Simba came to Atlanta K9’s and spent a couple of weeks with us prior to the World Championship in France. When I seen this young dog and super handler I knew there would be great things awaiting them in France.
We look forward to seeing you again soon and we also know you are a true cowgirl!! If you fall off you get right back up and do it again!
